Swyft Markets was founded in 2025 with a clear ambition: to make institutional-grade trading more accessible to South African traders through a regulated, transparent, and locally focused intermediary model.
As an intermediary, it was critical for us to align ourselves with a counterparty and principal that could support the standards we wanted to bring to market: deep liquidity, competitive pricing, reliable execution, robust trading infrastructure, transparent dealing practices, and a product environment capable of serving South African traders professionally.
We saw a market where many traders were still dealing with legacy platforms, limited local support, unclear pricing structures, and trading environments that were not always built around the practical needs of South African clients. Swyft Markets was created to offer clients access to something different.
